Brilliant base layers
I ride horses throughout the year, and these silk base layers have become one of my top essentials for staying warm and comfortable in colder weather. The scoop neck means they work equally well under knitted silk polonecks (which I use for everyday riding), Tattersall shirts (for other country sports) or silk shirts (for smart evening wear). Lightweight and thin, they do not feel bulky, never show a line and are completely invisible under clothes. They still allow you maximum movement. They rarely need washing, even with a very active lifestyle, and have the added benefit of keeping whatever you wear on too much cleaner too. I consider them my ‘secret weapon’ for staying warm without looking bulky!!! Worth every penny, especially if you have poor circulation or have outdoor winter hobbies e.g. riding or skiing.
